I’m feel like an addict

I am paranoid (at times)

I give too much and ask too little

I feel like I’m growing up faster once everyday

I haven’t been in a fight in a long time and that worries me

If you want to write well you should read; I should read a lot more.

Hoping and Wishing and Praying and …

Just trying to stay focused can be an all consuming beast.

LA hasn’t been the most inspiring palate the last week or so, but the people I’m working with have been nothing short of show stopping awesome.

I remember having this vision 8 or 9 years ago, that I’d come to my 10 year HS reunion and have everything figured out.

 I’m not even close.

It’s in that admission that I gain the most perspective and encouragement.

After years of jumping around and thrashing about - I’m treading lightly and moving gingerly.

I feel like my life right now is like a bull trying to do ballet for the first time - and enjoying it.

A Prevailing Fact In My Life

There are some people that I encounter in life and think “Gee I’d like to get to know that person and work on something with them.  Anything really.  It would just as cool to start a rock band or write a script with them as it would to run a tiny pizza stand.”

That my friends is a good trait to develop, hone, and be aware of. 

Go through your friends, colleagues and acquaintances and try to see what traits over lap with these people that make them desirable to work with. 

Some of the most successful groups of people I’ve encountered or followed have those traits.  Because if it is always about the work people burn out - at some pont it’s got to be about the group.

five facts about me

1. it takes me five minutes to lose my heart to a guy, it takes forever to trust my heart to one.

2. i am the least artistic in my family—but the most musical. however, I feel compelled to create visual works of art, but Im not that good at it… i could do music professionally, but that life doesn’t interest me.

3. there is a little piece of puerto rico, thailand, finland, sweden, russia, jamaica, brazil, hong kong, sri lanka, china, and france in my heart, and a big piece of india that occupies my thoughts, actions, emotions, and influences my decisions daily.

4. i have no idea what I want to do for the rest of my life…

5. coffee more than anything else in a morning can determine the outcome of my day…..

1. music + loving people is the way to my soul, not booze, or drugs or any other inhibitor or relaxor

2. i cry five times a year, and laugh maybe once a year in movies (portman)

3. my parents are devastated with my academic record but love my iq
